Set another record, not a good one.

We welcomed Busb back home and he thanked us by scoring 3 goals against us. Thanks, busb!

Pinterest Mom hit 400 NHL points.

Another record

PODIMA WHAT HAPPENED

I don't see how it adds up to 27 but whatever. Podima played for 1:38 before getting into a fight. Cool.

Scumhunters are 2-18-4, 14th place.

December 2024

December started with a lovely email from the board.

...that sounds like I don't actually have the boards full support.

Poison Mushroom hit 600 NHL games.

MMM Whatchya Say and Asiina were released again.

MMM Whatchya Say re-signed for $2.5 million. Asiina re-signed for $3.3 million.

Podima hit 200 NHL points

Scumhunters are 3-27-6, 14th place

January 2025

All Star selection, three guesses on who it is and the first two don't count

Congrats PMom

Magnus Gallant hit 400 AHL appearances.

Murmur Twin hit 200 NHL assists.

Cruise, Wren, and Ecco are all gonna retire at the end of the year.

Quidnose hit 500 NHL games.

Scumhunters are 6-35-7, 14th place, and my job is in serious jeopardy.

February 2025

Ecco was released. I don't think they'll sign for another team before they retire so here is their memorial.

Quidnose hit 200 NHL points.

Poque has spent 500 minutes in the penalty box in the NHL.

Keane hit 600 NHL games.

Scumhunters are 7-44-10, 14th place

Busb was traded to the Red Wings from the Stars for two players.

March 2025

PMom hit 700 NHL games.

Scumhunters are 14-52-10, which means we had a really good March. Still in 14th. Might have saved my job, though.

April 2025

Good for Edmonton.

Magnus Gallant will be out 8 months after an ACL injury.

AI bankrupted the team, basically.

Kashuno, CPig, Snooze Cruise, and Allen Wren have all left their overseas teams. I'll memorialize Snooze here and then Wren in May since those two are retiring.

Stickup  is participating in the world championships for Canada. He played good in a 5-0 win over Belarus, played okay in a 3-1 win over Switzerland, and scored a goal in both the 4-1 win over Denmark and 4-1 win over Finland.

Scumhunters finished 15-55-12, 14th place.

May 2025

Stickup played fine in a 6-3 win over Kazakhstan. Stickup scored a goal in a 4-0 win over Norway. He played okay in a 4-2 win over Germany. Stickup played okay as Canada lost in the semi-finals 5-2 to Finland. Stickup scored the first goal in the 3-0 win over Czech Republic, leading Canada to a 3rd place finish.

Murmur Twin and Magnus Gallant were released.

Capitalist Pig signed with Lulea HF in Sweden for $54,000.

Kashuno signed with Trencin in Slovakia for $40,000.

A memorial for Wren.

June 2025

The Calgary Flames won the Stanley Cup, defeating the Carolina Hurricanes 4-2.

Pre draft

Only two Scumhunters makin the list.

A late retirement notice

So a quick memorial service

Murmur Twin retired the next day, leaving the game.

Hey, a trophy

This trophy is given to the player who has made a noteworthy humanitarian contribution to the sport. Unsure what you did but congrats, Stickup!

We probably figured this, but sad for confirmation

Okay. We have three pending retirements which will happen officially sometime in July. When that happens, we'll be down to 15 folks left.

Stats.

Epilogue Year 14

July 2030 Quid Nose, This is a Stickup, and Po Dima are all out of contract. Retro Futurist retired on July 17th. Quid Nose signed a 2 year, $110,000 per year deal with Lustenau in Austria. This is a Stickup signed a 1 year, $141,000 deal with Tappara in Finland. Also, this happened. I landed here. Po Dima, the oldest player in the game, remains without a team. I halfway think he may just retire. August 2030 September 2030 He actually retired a day later. Podima's memorial. He's rated as a 5 star because I'm currently in the ECHL. His last check in at the NHL level was a 1 star. This means we only have 3 Scumhunters left, and none of them are playing in the NHL currently. October 2030 With everyone playing overseas, we won't get many updates for NHL milestones, so this should go very quickly. I may end up doing a 2-for-1 and combine two years in this. Scumhunters are 2-10-2, 14th place. SEE IT WASN'T ALL MY F

Rounding the corner

I apologize for missing Friday. I was in Delaware and didn't get home until super late, followed by a day trip to Dallas for the weekend so time was not in high supply. I will do a make-up entry tomorrow. Additionally, I'm trying something new this entry: Video! Unfortunately, it took a couple of tries to get things just right so the first game or two of this update will have sparse information. Let's just get started. First up, the Sabers at home. Here is PMush scoring! Unfortunately, that was the only good thing to happen to us this game. Next up, Ducks on the road!  A well taken RF goal.  And there here is This Is A Stickup scoring, but only in picture form. Those were the only highlights I managed.  Ok, on to this game against the Canadiens, where I have an actual lot of highlights to get through.  The puck gets wrapped around the back of the net. Stickup went out to collect but Hats beats him there. Hats backs

Epilogue Year 15

July 2031 Magnus Gallant retired on July 16th. This is a Stickup retired on July 16th. Quidnose, age 35, is the last Scumhunter left. He has one year left on his deal, so I think this may be his last season. He'll turn 36 in May. I'll be going fast the rest of the way. Once Quid Nose retired, we'll open up the Scumhunters record book and see if any of our former players still hold records or not. Or... not. How about that. Quidnose was a 2 star back when he was 33 in the NHL, probably a 1 star by now. So... that's that, then. The new season hasn't started yet so I'll just go ahead and crack open the record book. Remember, our season was from August 2016-June 2017 so anything in those dates belongs to our squad. We have the Highest League Position, Highest Attendance, Lowest Attendance (no idea how this wasn't broken during the years of 14th place), Highest Playoff Attendance, Lowest Playoff Attendance (all playoff
